T5W | Books on the Top of My TBR But Really, This is Likely My February 2019 TBR

Hello there and welcome back to Reading Solace!

It’s time for another Top 5 Wednesday post. If you haven’t heard of Top 5 Wednesday #T5W, it is a weekly bookish meme created by Lainey of  GingerReadsLainey and is now hosted by Samantha of Thoughts on TomesClick here to join the official Goodreads group. The topics are posted in the GR group.

Today’s topic is ‘Books on the Top of our TBR‘. NOW. Ever since I’ve joined the bookish community and have dedicated at least 90% of my life to reading books, my TBR has grown and grown and grown until I completely lost control over myself and I just kept on adding and adding and adding amazing books to it until they’ve become an overwhelming number, which I still don’t know how many books exactly there are in total.

Anyway, one of my 2019 reading goals, which I posted about a month ago, is to bring down my physical TBR to only 10 books. An ambitious goal, if I say so myself and I’m pretty sure my past self was sleep-deprived when I thought about it, but IT’S TOO LATE to go back on my word now.

#Project14Lists Day 2 & T5W Dec. 19th, 2018 | Most Anticipated Winter 2019 Releases

#Project14Lists

#Project14Lists is organized by Shealea of That Bookshelf Bitch. Basically, we have to publish a list of a topic of our choice for fourteen days from December 18th to December 31st. If you haven’t heard of Top 5 Wednesday #T5W, it is a weekly bookish meme created by Lainey of  GingerReadsLainey and is not hosted by Samantha of Thoughts on TomesClick here to join the official Goodreads group. The topics are posted in the GR group.

Today’s T5W topic is our most anticipated 2019 releases. However, it is LITERALLY impossible for me to narrow down all of the 2019 releases I am most excited about because there are just too many awesome books to be released next year, I tell you. That’s why it’s a good thing Samantha mentioned we can do the first half of 2019 or even just Winter 2019. Since I’m also participating in Project 14 Lists, I decided to combine the two, heh.

As I’ve said, there are many great releases next year and I will be doing a separate post for ALL of the 2019 releases I am most excited about.  But for today, here are five January to February releases I am anticipating the most. Continue reading →

#Project14Lists | Day 1: Books I Want to Read Before 2018 Ends

HI THERE!

I know I haven’t posted anything else after my blogoversary post, but heyyy I’m back again with another one! Also, if you haven’t seen my previous post, you should definitely check it out and join my giveaway!

Anyway, I wanted to end 2018 on a positive note with me publishing at least five posts before the end of the year and I saw Shealea‘s tweet about the #Project14Lists and I swear, that was the sign I was looking for. (Yes, I needed the push because my lazy ass just can’t seem to manage to finish drafting a single post. Ugh.)

Basically, all we have to do is post daily for the next two weeks about a list of anything, really. This is perfect since it’s all up to us to think of a topic to do. So, by doing this project, I will not only be able to post five posts before the end of the year but— get this— FOURTEEN POSTS! Well, I might not actually be able to do 14 but hey, we never know, right?

If you are interested in joining this project and just want an excuse to post some lists on your blog, bookish-related or not, check out Shealea’s post for the complete guidelines. ❤ Continue reading →
